This wouldn’t fit into an ask, so…

I’m the person who submitted the post about the MRI machine. 1) Not everyone has access to these 630lb machines. 2) Not everyone has the capability to lose the weight in order to fit more comfortably into the machines. The person I wrote about is severely disabled and needed to get an MRI (her first one in 10 years, mind you, because no one would take her) to determine how much worse her various illnesses had gotten. She physically cannot lose the weight or travel very far to get to these magical machines that you’re claiming are totally everywhere. Not only are you fatphobic for assuming she’s the problem rather than the doctors and equipment, but you are also ableist for assuming that everyone is capable of losing the weight in the first place. And when her limbs are literally taped together by a batch of rude doctors who COULDN’T BELIEVE HER SIZE (she sits at no more than 350, which is big but not as big as you’re seeming to think she is), that IS fat-shaming. Oh, and these doctors used medical tape that they knew she was allergic to because apparently the only way to get her into the machine was to tape her together so she was smaller…
