I’m pretty thin, but when I gained weight because of stress my pediatrician asked me if I was watching what I eat or counting calories. When I told him no, he looked at me and said in a rude voice “Well, you should.”
This is NOT ok! Even if I was fat he has no right to speak to a patient like that!
Doctors today are brainwashed into thinking that thin is good, fat is bad and that any weight gain is a horrible thing. This needs to change! Doctors should have mandatory nutrition courses that explain healthy eating habits instead of getting taught that anyone with a larger bmi (which is the worst statistic ever) is unhealthy.
